It depends on upload frequency and battery capacity. The M371 and M381 in standard 2000 mAh form run around 30 days uploading hourly, or 50 days uploading every two hours. If you only need proof of condition on arrival, a USB PDF logger is sufficient and cheaper per shipment. If you need to intervene while the cargo is still in transit, choose a real time device so that an excursion triggers an SMS or email alert immediately rather than being discovered at delivery. Many pharmaceutical shippers run both, real time on high value lanes and USB PDF on the rest.

Yes. The M501, M502-TH, M371-TH and M381-TH all record relative humidity alongside temperature across a range of 0 to 100%RH. Temperature only variants are available in the real time range if humidity is not part of your compliance requirement.
